Apologies for the lack of posts recently, I've been quite sick the last couple of weeks and unfortunately haven't been able to do very much.
It was a beautiful sunny day in Melbourne yesterday so I decided to venture into the city. One of the things I love most about this city is its many old buildings and hidden gems, and this spot is no exception. I often drive past this beautiful building (which now forms the back half of RMIT university) on my way home from work but have never had the chance to stop and have a good look. I just love how such an old building seamlessly blends in with the super-modern structure that is RMIT without losing any of its old-world charm.
As for my look: I was meeting up with a friend for an early dinner after my little afternoon visit to the city so I thought I'd keep it fairly casual. This denim anorak from Sportsgirl is one of my favourite pieces at the moment. It's perfect for the in-between weather we've been experiencing through Autumn; just enough to keep you warm without being too heavy and it's great for layering...definitely one of my top picks for wardrobe staples this season! I've popped it over a simple striped body-con dress with wet-look leggings and a belt to cinch in my waist. I was also very excited to take my new Tony Bianco boots (featured in my earlier boot post
) out for a spin. I can't wait to wear these babies through winter!
I hope you're all having a lovely day!!
